Ibrahim Karci

about

I am a freelance multimedia storyteller based in Germany, with a diverse background in international media teams across various roles. My expertise extends beyond news; I create multimedia content for multiple mediums and have experience in audiovisual production at all stages and scales. As an independent researcher and multimedia producer with over ten years of experience, I focus on stories that examine the impact of policy decisions on individuals, particularly concerning human rights, forced migration, and social issues. In 2017, I co-founded the Kopuntu Network and still serve as the chief editor of a non-profit magazine that addresses topics such as New Generation Diasporas, Post-Migration, and Gender Identity. The magazine publishes exclusive articles in various languages on an irregular basis. Additionally, I ideate, produce, and coordinate cultural events, working with museums and galleries to engage diverse audiences.
